Abstract

The present work contains the development of an architectural proposal for the project of a Reception Center for women and girls victims of violence and abuse in Guayaquil in response to the défcit of these facilities. Its objective is to welcome women and girls who have suffered from domestic violence and to provide them with a place where they feel safe and can receive the necessary help, taking into account the physical and psychological needs of each woman. The concept of the project is user privacy. It fulfills an established program, highlighting mostly social spaces such as terraces and gardens, meeting rooms, central courtyard, community dining room, occupational classrooms, games room, gym.
