Las consecuencias jurídicas del procedimiento abreviado y los vacios en el COIP.

Abstract

Criminal law is one of the most enriching branches of law and it is very interesting to study, because the person and their psychology play a very important role in their development. Studying human behavior towards society, the reasons why a person exhibits a certain behavior at certain moments in time, is very satisfying, because this way we understand that each person is different. Therefore, it leads us to the exhaustive analysis of the Abbreviated Procedure, its applicability in Ecuador and how it contributes to the regulations and simplification of criminal proceedings, if it is a tool to reduce crime, give speed and judicial efficiency or perhaps an option for the offender to be able to obtain a lower sentence without any qualm on his conscience.
