Abstract

The narratives of animated series usually transmit messages about the outstanding values of society, either clearly or implicitly. For this reason, it is considered an important audiovisual medium that works as a didactic resource, where the public can be entertained and learn about different topics and values. Thus, this project aims to create a teaser for a 2D animated series, which shows the lives of children suffering from Parkinson's, Hyperacusis and Narcolepsy, and how this also affects the lives of their family and close friends, to achieve diffusion and awareness to a greater number of people. In addition, to having the purpose of disseminating a new term such as Functional Diversity, this project seeks to redefine the concept of “Disabled” and create a document that describes the whole process of creating the characters, scenarios, graphic line, and graphic brand of an animated series.
