Protección de las obras creadas con inteligencia artificial en el contexto ecuatoriano.

Abstract

Technological advancement pervades every facet of human development, thereby urging the need to regulate and reassess the preexisting rules that were initially designed for different realities. Building upon this premise, the author focuses this thesis on the imperative of safeguarding creations generated through Artificial Intelligence algorithms, as well as the pertinent individual contributions encapsulated within them, according to the legal establishment of ecuador. Making an appropriate legal and international framework to address all potential quandaries arising from this subject will confer legal certainty to the usage, development, and distribution of these creations. This in turn, will nurture innovation and the advancement of these technologies. In summary, my research underscores the significance of adopting a proactive approach in adapting Intellectual Property regulations to the era of Artificial Intelligence, or at the very least, instituting certain exceptions.
