Abstract

Implementing a structural reengineering in the key processes of the operations of the family hardware store, FERCAMPOSA SA, is the general objective of this project. For its accomplishment, the specific objective was determined as the analysis of the current situation of the company by means of tools for the study of internal and external factors. Thus, understanding the structure of the organization and how responsibilities and roles are distributed to identify possible inefficiencies in the allocation of tasks and responsibilities. An involvement in the company's operational activities made it possible to identify the key processes, operational flows and their respective resources used in the specific activities involved. Additional information was obtained through key questions and approaches asked to the main actors of the identified processes. Through the analysis of the information, the processes were reengineered and a progressive investment was initiated, which started when the idea for this project was emerging. The costs were detailed in hours per week and were shown in tables and their respective comparisons of results in bar graphs. Based on the accounting information provided by the company, the analysis with project was carried out for subsequent comparison with the analysis without project and to verify the feasibility of the reengineering and investment. With the total value of the investment, the incremental flow was carried out, obtaining as results: an increase in the value of the company and a positive internal rate of return, thus concluding a profitability of the reengineering.
