Impacto social y económico de las microfinanzas en microempresas comerciales medianas de la provincia de Loja, durante el periodo 2015-2020.

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to demonstrate the potential impact that microfinance has on medium-sized commercial microenterprises in the province of Loja during the last 5 years in Ecuador, taking as a reference the context of the health emergency caused by COVID-19 in the south of the country. To do this, qualitative and quantitative information was collected from a sample of microentrepreneurs and IMFS representatives to understand the situation they faced during the pandemic and determine if access to microfinance had a significant relationship with the income of local microentrepreneurs.
