Análisis y diseño de un sistema de puesta a tierra para la Facultad de Jurisprudencia de la UCSG.

Abstract

In this curricular integration work, the importance of an effective and reliable grounding system in the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the UCSG is addressed, highlighting its importance to preserve life, equipment and buildings in the educational field. The distinct particularities of infrastructure, energy needs, energy distribution and electricity protection standards that are specific to the region are highlighted. The explanation is based on the fundamental importance of devising a specific and compelling program to ensure security and comply with requirements and standards. The objectives of the research are the diagnosis of current resources, the study of particular needs, the design and verification of the proposed system. The way of doing it includes bibliographic research, the study of regulations, the diagnosis of infrastructures and the verification of specific needs and risks. The hypothesis suggests that the proposed concept will significantly decrease the chances of electric shock and provide effective protection to the college community. The research methodology will carry out a thorough diagnosis of the existing electrical infrastructure at the faculty, identifying areas of vulnerability and points that need improvements in the grounding system.
