| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The study of the case of Miriam, throughout the analysis reveals that we are in front of a structure of hysterical neurosis, where we account for the constant role that the patient has to be “support” in her life such as her family and social relationships. within her life such as her family and social relationships. In order to arrive to this structural diagnosis in Miriam, a series of concepts are approached throughout the case concepts such as: symptom, phantasm and jouissance. Giving Miriam's role of “always being for others” and assuming responsibilities that do not concern her, she responsibilities that do not concern her, nevertheless it is what helps us to define her structure her structure, since in spite of causing her discomfort and constant complaint, Miriam enjoys being Miriam enjoys being the one in charge of the wishes of others, always giving her all before her own her own wellbeing or desires, which positions Miriam as a hysterical subject who, in front of her own a hysterical subject who in the face of her symptom, linked to the inability to say “no” and to a constant search for “no” and a constant search for approval, underlines the influence of an Other who demands her constant of an Other who demands her constant surrender. | en_US |
