Abstract

Companies in the retail sector constitute one of the main lines of business. Which offer top of the-line products in order to satisfy the needs of consumers. During the time of the coronavirus pandemic, this sector had the need to adapt to the circumstances, innovating in many aspects with the aim of maintaining the trust of its customers and not reducing its income. However, as a result of this fact, retail companies presented inconsistencies in the information systems, specifically in inventory management. The general objective is to propose a methodology that allows improvements in the information systems for adequate management of the inventories of the companies. retail companies from the city of Guayaquil.
