Movilidad humana y su incidencia en la economía informal de la ciudad de Guayaquil en el periodo 2023-2024.

Abstract

This research analyzes whether human mobility has an impact on the informal economy of Guayaquil, using data from the ENEMDU (2022-2023) and variables such as informal employment, internal and external migration, education and income. The question is: Does human mobility have an impact on the informal economy of Guayaquil (2022-2023)? To answer this question, scientific studies, descriptive and probabilistic theories and analysis are used, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and deductive method. Among the findings, it stands out that income has a greater impact on reducing informality, while education does not have a significant influence and therefore there will be migration if people do not achieve adequate income in their places of origin.
