Abstract

Within the scope of this title work, an architectural project is proposed that is developed within the FAE Ci - udadela in the city of Guayaquil, which is a center for the prevention and eradication of violence against women, childhood and adolescence, because it is a problem that has increased within the city reaching 64.9% of women who have experienced at least some type of violence in different areas throughout their lives. (INEC, 2019). The objective is to provide a tool that serves as legal and psychological support for people affected by this problem; offering spaces that allow reflection and emotional strengthening, with private and protected areas; use of materials that symbolize transparency and strength, such as frosted glass and lattices, to allow a secure connection between indoor and outdoor spaces; and design of interior patios and gardens that promote a supportive and recovery environment, integrating nature and serenity.
