Implementación de solución LMS integrada para el proyecto de vinculación AlfabeTic de la UCSG.

Abstract

The present project aims to implement an integrated learning management solution (LMS) for the "Alfabetic" linking project. For this purpose, Moodle 4.5 has been selected as the central platform, guaranteeing a modern, adaptable and efficient educational experience. The implementation will be carried out in a server environment provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), using an instance configured with Windows Server 2022 as the operating system and using Apache as the web server, PHP for the application logic and MySQL as the database management system. This solution seeks to meet the needs of the Alfabetic project, providing accessible virtual space for the management of courses, teaching resources and monitoring of participants' learning. The choice of AWS guarantees scalability, high availability and optimal performance, while the combination of technologies such as Apache and MySQL ensures compatibility and stability with the selected version of Moodle. The implementation process will include the deployment of the server, the installation and configuration of Moodle, and the customization of its Moove theme for a user-friendly interface consistent with the project objectives. This work not only contributes to strengthening the Alfabetic project, but also generates a replicable model for similar initiatives, promoting digital transformation in low-resource educational contexts.
