Diseño de Auditorio para el Colegio Alemán Humboldt.

Abstract

This research focuses on the intervention of the Colegio Alemán Humboldt, Ceibos campus, with the objective of responding to the spatial and comfort needs currently present in some areas of the institution. The specific space to be intervened is the event hall, which lacks functionality and presents deficiencies in climate control. Based on the diagnosis of these issues, the proposal is to design an auditorium for the school, conceived with criteria of spatial flexibility and primarily intended for graduation ceremonies as well as academic and cultural events, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the school authorities. Furthermore, the proposal seeks to ensure that the new building integrates harmoniously with the existing campus infrastructure. Through various analyses of the site and surrounding conditions, the main design criteria and constraints have been established, aiming to create an accessible space with appropriate thermal comfort and acoustic quality, capable of meeting the demands of the student community during institutional events.
