Vivienda colectiva: alternativas de transición espacial entre lo exterior público y lo interior privado.

Abstract

The present degree project focuses on housing in Guayaquil as an object of study. The aim was to generate a design proposal that applies alternatives of transition between the public exterior and the private interior in the current context of the city. It was a process that initially involved analyzing the changes that housing has had in its spatial configuration from the twentieth century to the present. The methodology used was divided into two phases of development. Started with a historical/spatial analysis component based on data collection and analysis. In this way, a conclusion was generated which then allowed the project development of the design in the second phase, responding to the antecedent studied earlier. The final result includes a prototype of housing in height that takes into account scales of collectivity within its spatiality that encourages social interaction, represents an ideal scenario. Finally the design project is a collective housing located in the center of Guayaquil, this originates from the bases of the prototype, whose challenge was to adapt it to the current context of the site, so as to achieve a project that promotes an environment of community and security.
