Abstract

In the present research, the issue of violence against women is addressed, with particular emphasis on the analysis of its most severe expressions: femicide, sexual violence, and child sexual violence. The study was based on a descriptive-analytical approach, in which theoretical references, critical perspectives, and social reflections were integrated, allowing for an understanding of the magnitude of these forms of violence in the current context. The main objective was to demonstrate how these manifestations violate human rights, undermine the dignity of the victims, and constitute an urgent challenge for society as a whole. In this regard, I argue that each documented case should not be read merely as an isolated incident, but rather as a symptom of cultural and social structures that legitimize inequality and the abuse of power. The results obtained reveal that violence against women and children continues to show an alarming incidence, linked to factors such as machismo, impunity, and the lack of effective protection and prevention policies. Accordingly, I affirm that the eradication of this phenomenon is not measured solely by approved laws, but by the capacity to guarantee justice, reparation, and security for the victims. Finally, the need is raised to strengthen both state and social commitment through educational programs, accessible reporting mechanisms, and sustained awareness campaigns that promote a profound cultural change in favor of equity and respect.
