Abstract

The objective of the present investigation is to determine the incidence of “C”-shaped canals in the lower incisors within the Ecuadorian population, seeking to explore their presence and, through the use of periapical radiographs and cone beam computed tomography, understand the anatomy of the incisors that have “C” canals. Correct endodontic treatment depends on extensive understanding of these anatomical variations and knowledge of the incidence rate in Ecuador. Objective: Determine the incidence of "C" canals in the lower incisors in the Ecuadorian population.
