Abstract

In this thesis on the redesign of the Ecuadorian German Cultural Center (CCEA), in this proposal its concept is based on the order and flexibility that the space could have. In this intervention, her main goal is to update the institutional image without losing cultural identity by improving circulation and functionality of classrooms with their common areas. I entered his concept flexibility is based through furniture, open spaces for different activities that are carried out as classes, workshops and community meetings. In the order it is used through the distribution where clear routes are obtained and use is defined for each area of the CCEA. In our proposal, we seek a balance with dynamism, in which an interior is created. It is sought that each inner element responds to an equal structured order that has the possibility of a total transformation for the proposed activities. As this redesign enhances the functionality of CCEA, to strengthen identity with a cultural bridge.
