Propuesta de uso turístico para los espacios recreativos: Parque Temático Cristo Redentor, la Torre Eiffel de París Chiquito, y el Balneario de Agua Dulce del cantón Vinces, provincia de Los Ríos.

Abstract

main objective of this study is to design a proposal to make better use of the three most representative recreational spaces in the Vinces canton: Cristo Redentor Thematic Park, the Eiffel Tower of “París Chiquito,” and the Agua Dulce Recreational Resort. First, the current situation of each site is reviewed, including its location, the person responsible for maintaining each recreational space, and an investigation into what makes each site unique. Surveys conducted with residents of Vinces and visitors to the canton are then analyzed in order to understand their opinions, preferences, and the aspects they believe require attention. The results indicate that most people are familiar with these sites and value them. However, they also recognize that the recreational spaces require maintenance of all their facilities, as well as better signage and increased security. It was also found that most of the information people have about these places has been passed on by family and friends, highlighting the need to promote them more broadly. Based on this information, a proposal is developed and divided into three parts: physically improving each space and providing basic services; promoting them more effectively by taking advantage of the name “París Chiquito,” which identifies the canton; and encouraging the local community to participate in the preservation, activities, and benefits associated with tourism. The proposal does not seek to build expensive infrastructure, but rather to enhance what already exists, maintain it properly, promote it, and achieve these goals through collective community involvement..
