Descripción :	El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Turismo Comunitario como alternativa sustentable de desarrollo en el cantón Bucay”, engloba la idea de promover el desarrollo económico de este sector, utilizando como herramienta la afluencia turística que ahí se pudiese llevar a cabo; como consecuencia de la difusión de los atractivos de Bucay y las alianzas con organismos de carácter público o privado conjuntamente con la sociedad. A fin de que los ingresos generados por conceptos de turismo beneficien a la gente y les permita mejorar su calidad de vida. Por esta razón, esta investigación se ha dividido en cinco partes donde a continuación se resume los aspectos más importantes:  Capítulo 1 - Problema de Investigación: Da el punto de partida de la investigación, identificando las necesidades de la comunidad bucayense y determina las causas que motivan al desarrollo de la tesis. Se complementa con un marco teórico que respalda la presente investigación, en función a lo que otros autores han determinado acerca de hallazgos similares.  Capítulo 2 - Aspectos Generales del Entorno: Esta parte describe los atractivos del cantón Bucay y demás aspectos relacionados al turismo y accesibilidad al sector, localización, clima, entre otros.  Capitulo 3 - Marco Metodológico Permite establecer las características comunes del perfil de los turistas respecto a las actividades que estarían dispuestos a desarrollar y la frecuencia de visitas, para terminar la aceptación de la propuesta de turismo comunitario en Bucay.  Capitulo 4 - La Propuesta: Describe las acciones a desarrollarse para fomentar la afluencia turística en el cantón Bucay y el impacto económico, sociocultural y ambiental que traería consigo, para la comunidad. Turismo Comunitario como alternativa sustentable de desarrollo en el cantón Bucay” is the name of this investigation based on the idea of promoting the economic and social development of this sector. So, it is very important to use this kind of tourism to impulse the tourism flow in order to accomplish the objectives set. This investigation arises as consequence of the low promotion that has Bucay in the present time, for that reason the main objective is to integrate the community with the tourist, so the cultural and economic exchange could give them the opportunity to improve their life quality. As a result, this topic is divided in five parts where the most important aspect are described in the same way:  Chapter 1 - The Problem: In this part, it will define the investigation problem by identifying the community needs and it will determine the causes that promote the development of this work. In addition, a theoretical structure will be the complement to support the investigation, based on the comments of the other authors who did similar works.  Chapter 2 - Overview of the Environment, describes the tourist attraction of Bucay and others aspects associated to the tourist and accessibility of the sector, location, weather, etc.  Chapter 3 - Methodology, in order to determine the common characteristics of the tourist associated to the activity they were disposed to do and the frequency of visit to evaluate the acceptation grade of the proposal.  Chapter 4 - The Proposal, in this section it describes the actions to improve the tourist flow in Bucay, and determine the economic, socio cultural and environmental impact to the community.
