Gestión con ecoeficiencia en la PYMES productoras de camarón de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present research aims to describe the management with ecoefficiency in the shrimp producers of Guayaquil. The scope of the research is an exploratory and descriptive level. First, it outlines the theoretical framework in relation to the ecoefficiency model, from which information is collected, applying interviews to the executive director of the National Chamber of Aquaculture. Finally, the analysis is carried out according to the ecoefficiency model and it is obtained as the main conclusion that the shrimp SMEs in the Guayaquil shrimp sector lack the implementation of an ecoefficiency model. Given the activity and the impacts they generate in the environment, it is necessary for the authorities to initiate actions to channel SMEs into the management model with ecoefficiency.
