| Resumen : | The present research aims to analyze the effects of safeguards in the manufacturing industry "garments of Ecuador" in the period 2007-2015. For theresearch the quantitative method is used and it is of the descriptive analysis type. It develops the theoretical-conceptual basis explaining the accounts of the balance of payments, free exchange theories and the socialism that differ in how international trade is maintained. In conclusion, it is determined that the safeguardsapplied during the period of study have had a negative effect on the development of the activity of the textile sector "clothing" in Ecuador. |
| Descripción : | El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los efectos de las salvaguardias en la industria manufacturera “confecciones de prendas de vestir de materiales textiles del Ecuador” en el periodo 2007-2015. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utiliza el método cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo. En la fundamentación teórica-conceptual se explica las cuentas de la balanza de pagos, las teorías del libre mercado y el socialismo que difieren en la manera de cómo debería ser manejado el comercio internacional. Como conclusión se determina que las salvaguardias aplicadas durante el periodo de estudio han tenido un efecto negativo en el desarrollo de la actividad del sector textil en “prendas de vestir” en el Ecuador. |
