Diseño de la oferta de cicloturismo en el cantón El Carmen, provincia de Manabí.

Abstract

This project is about designing the bike touring offer in El Carmen city, province of Manabí to develop local tourism, whit the purpose of create an alternative and eco-friendly tourism with the environment and the local community these option is find to draw external tourist and at the same time to promote a healthier life style among the community by means to healthy sport to the outdoor. By providing clear objectives, it has come to the conclusion of setting up the previously mentioned project into El Carmen city, province of Manabí. The conclusion has come by different factors included; the fact of being a favored area of the ranges foothills of the Andes occidental side, at the north west of the province of Manabí, and a privileged fields surrounded of mountains and coverings hills of exuberant flora and abundant wildlife. By using the descriptive investigation method, it has been used polls to get a better and a clearer data collection, the same that has been done on the zone, at the annual ride competition named “Ruta del Plátano”, where a variety of competitors from different ages, sex, and home places participate in their bikes, all in a course of joy, competitiveness and surrounded beautiful landscapes that the city provides. Finally with the collected info after the respective analysis, it has reached some real solutions to the project and to its direction. In that way the project has established an immediate intervention of the local clusters to promote the implementation of the routes destined to the bicycle touring. In conclusion it is remarkable that the design of the bicycle touring for El Carmen City has a positive impact for the local development tourism.
