Teatro – Biblioteca en Bahía de Caráquez.

Abstract

The need to re - activate economic, tourist, cultural and recuperate the theater of Bahía de Caráquez, entails the approach of the Theater -Library project. Its purpose is to generate a cultural and artistic meeting point that together with the spatial flexibility, translated into large internal and external free spaces, allows to foment and promote the activities that are carried out, being an attractive landmark for the city. From the contextual and social analysis, ten strategic points are determined that serve as a basis for the development of the project in relation to the existing public space in its environment, the structural conception and the architectural proposal that responds to the programs of theater, library, classrooms -stallers, cafeteria and plaza.
