Teatro Biblioteca Municipal Bahía de Caráquez.

Abstract

The present work proposes a library theater proposal in the cantonal headwaters of Bahía de Caráquez, Province of Manabí. After the earthquake of April 16, 2016, the old building suffered severe damage is its structu-re forcing the Municipality to overthrow it. Arising the need for a cultural space with the facilities and structure sui-table for such building. The proposal consists of integrating the leisure, cultural and educational activities for the users. allowing an integration and development of the activities that were carried out prior to the natural disaster. The project retains the use of flexible spaces for cultural activities. A site analysis was carried out, establi-shing a planimetry survey that allowed taking into account urban, environmental, architectural and cultural cha-racteristics of the sector to carry out the design proposal. In the Central neighborhood next to the municipality is located the terrain of the theater library Bahía de Caráquez
