Estudio del estado regional dentro de la Organización Territorial Ecuatoriana.

Abstract

The present academic article aims to analyze the insertion of decentralized regional governments as a new standard in the territorial organization model of Ecuador. According to our currently constitution, the regional governments must be built in the subsequently years. An investigative preamble about the state will be made in order to understand its origin and how it has been constitutionally evolving through the years. Then, this article is going to focus in the Regional Governments in Ecuador, their building process, their faculties, the exclusive competences they have, and plenty attributions that constitution and the law have given to them. Finally, this article will examine whether the adoption of the governments is feasible or not, and the possible consequences that would be carried with the execution of this constitutional policy which was suspended in 2015 due to an amendment.
