Análisis del sistema turístico y propuesta de plan de mejora de la cabecera parroquial de Chanduy ubicada en la provincia de Santa Elena.

Abstract

The community of Chanduy is an attractive site belonging to the Province of Santa Elena geographically located to the south of it. Chanduy currently has approximately 18,648 inhabitants, made up of families dedicated to fishing, agriculture, livestock and tourism. It has some tourist attractions such as the Real Alto Museum, cultural events such as the traditional "Mesa de los Muertos" and the San Agustín church. Chanduy is also striking to tourism for its exquisite cuisine, and in a very particular way, its inhabitants dedicate themselves to fishing activities as livelihoods of their homes. Studies carried out in the Parroquial Chanduy, constitute a tourist diagnosis of the sector, it has been determined that it does not have a tourism infrastructure to offer a quality service. This is mainly due to the lack of support and commitment on the part of public and private companies, and it is necessary that the community be involved, in order to take advantage of the tourism potential of this place, which is in a stage of development and tourist entrepreneurship , highlighting in a primordial way the participation of young entrepreneurs. It has come to be determined that in the country an inexhaustible support of resources constitutes tourism, reason why it is necessary to make all the efforts to reach optimum levels of sustainability of th is source of income for Chanduy. Once the existing weaknesses in Chanduy's tourism sector have been identified, with the implementation of this project, an improvement plan will be implemented to correct the existing problems, so that the Chanduy Parochial Headquarters becomes an alternative tourism for tourists domestic and foreign.
