Abstract

The following research paper is a systematization of the clinical practices carried out at the Dr. Teodoro Maldonado Carbo Regional Hospital where we worked with patients admitted to the oncology area and also the relatives of patients who perform outpatient chemotherapy, in order to analyze how the analytical device helps against subjective urgency in which the subject falls in the different moments of the disease and the important role played by the clinical psychologist, making the treatment more bearable. The interventions made during the practice process are based on psychoanalytic theory, making use of the subjectiveemergency device and active listening during sessions with patients aiming to improve the quality of life of the patient. The results obtained are basedon the exposed interventions where the oncological subject's urgency against treatment is evident.
