Abstract

In the following work "Only (,) I wish to be myself" was developed a case study of the patient Esteban, in which using the clinical method and starting from a psychoanalytic conceptual framework, was made reading the interviews that the subject kept during one of his analysis processes in his native country and from this several conclusions and interpretations were drawn. From the story of the patient's history, that of his family and his symptoms, we sought to locate various relevant elements for the understanding of the subject from a psychoanalytic perspective, such as: the moments of the trauma, the fundamental ghost and the moments in that this fainted, the sense of the symptoms, the clinical structure in which it is located that has to do with its position in front of the others and the changes that occurred during and at the end of its analysis.
