¿Por qué no me quiere? Historia detrás de un síntoma.

Abstract

In this document entitled "Why don´t you love me? History behind a symptom", a clinical case is presented with the objective of conducting an analysis based on fundamental concepts of psychoanalytic theory. A 40 year-old woman, came to consultation with a particular symptom: not be loved by men and despite trying to fit and please them; it was impossible to keep her romantic relationships. This symptom was addressed from the historicization of it where certain key points they could be located of its subjective structure: the hysterical neurosis. In the analysis of her symptom according to her particular family history, the resolution of her Oedipus, the conformation of her phantasm by means of signifiers that were inscribed in her childhood, her defensive mechanisms and her position in front of the enjoyment, were found the possible clues of the work to be done with the patient and could be positioned in a different way and consequently decrease the displeasure.
