Propuesta de desarrollo de producto agroturismo en la Finca Lava Java, en la Parroquia de Bellavista, Santa Cruz- Galápagos.

Abstract

This study considers the proposal to incorporate agro-tourism activities in the Lava Java farm, Bellavista parish of the Santa Cruz canton, Galápagos province, taking into account the potential of the sector to develop such activities, so that it does not depend only on the traditional tourism developed in this parish, which occurs mostly on beaches and the sea, without benefit for rural parishes. Therefore, the study is based on the theoretical and conceptual background related to the research object, describing and explaining the characteristics of agrotourism, its benefits for the community and how it could be developed in Santa Cruz Island. This foundation is reinforced with the diagnosis of the island, the parish and the tourism infrastructure of the sector. On these elements, the proposal is presented, consisting of a basic model of use of space in the Lava Jaba farm, and the requirements to adapt the property to the service of visitors interested in developing agrotourism activities, for the benefit of sustainable tourism, having chosen Coffee crops for the effect.
