Análisis comparativo de criterios de los periodistas sobre cambios en la Ley de Comunicación.

Abstract

This research work analyzes the different points of view of the interviewees about the reforms to the communication law. Subsequently, a content study of the articles of the law is carried out, comparing them with the opinion of the interviewees. This review serves as support for the object of study of this proposal: Comparative analysis of journalists' criteria on changes in the Communication Law. To obtain the results, 10 in-depth interviews were conducted with journalists, lawyers and legal experts. The perception of freedom of expression, previous censorship and self-regulation are three of the main issues that determine the journalistic practice of communicators. The results show that most of the journalists interviewed believe that the communication law should be reformed to ensure freedom of expression and seek that the law benefits everyone.
