Incidencia de las TIC en el liderazgo de las instituciones educativas particulares del sector norte de Guayaquil.

Abstract

Every institution from the moment of its creation must set a goal to be a leader in its respective sector. From there, the importance of establishing its mission and vision. To achieve that leadership, institutions must use the necessary tools. In the case of educational institutions, they must use information and communication technologies, which allow them to be internally communicated among managers, teachers, administrative staff, students and attorneys; and they must also be communicated externally with organizations or foundations that provide high quality content, so it is important to establish agreements with organizations worldwide, offering the International Baccalaureate Program. This project aims to give the guidelines to other institutions that are in the background and that wish to be leading institutions in the next five years. By helping these institutions achieve leadership, they are contributing to improving the quality of learning processes in Ecuador. We want to diminish the marked dispersions that exist today, both in the quality of education, as in infrastructure, level of ICT sophistication and in the cost of the pension. This will improve the quality of educational management that demands greater leadership from its authorities, using information technologies. Hence, the relevance of studying whether ICT impact positively on the leadership of educational institutions.
