Sistema de monitoreo de la programación de las estaciones de televisión digital terrestre en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

Digital Terrestrial Television - DTT is a service that is still in the stage of deployment in the Ecuador, since the adoption of the standard ISDB-Tb is still a large part of the radio spectrum that has not migrated to DTT from analog television, so it is important the implementation of systems of monitoring and control of the spectrum on the part of the entity of regulation and control. The present work presents a proposal for a system of monitoring stations for DTT programming, allowing to contribute to the control of the use of the radio spectrum and radio communication in the UHF band services, through an analysis of technical suitability of the site of reception of signals by means of the measurement of technical parameters of the DTT signals, analyzes equipment set top box, antennas operating in the UHF band and video recording equipment, to finally present the design of the system proposed for the monitoring and control of the use of the radio spectrum of DTT in the city of Guayaquil.
