| Abstract: | In the present titulation work was developed the quality control of six samples of asphalt cement obtained of the Refinery of Esmeraldas in the year 2018. The samples were subjected to various laboratory tests, for their respective classification by grade of viscosity (AC) and classification by grade of performance (PG) based on Superpave technology according to the corresponding standards. Additionally, tests and advanced rheological characterization procedures were carried out, such as: master curves, Black diagrams, ΔTc parameter and transition temperature, which provided information to expand the study of the behavior of asphalt binders in their original state, with primary aging (RTFOT) and secondary aging (PAV) on the roads during their useful life. Carrying out in this way comparisons, recommendations and conclusions of the results obtained to update the problems presented by the Ecuadorian asphalt and have a guideline for future research and improvements. |
| Description: | En el presente trabajo de titulación se desarrolló el control de calidad de seis muestras de cemento asfáltico obtenidas de la Refinería de Esmeraldas en el año 2018. A las muestras se les realizó diversos ensayos de laboratorio, para su respectiva clasificación por grado de viscosidad (AC) y la clasificación por grado de desempeño (PG) basándonos en la tecnología Superpave de acuerdo a las normas correspondientes. Adicionalmente se realizaron ensayos y procedimientos de caracterización reológica avanzada, tales como: curvas maestras, diagramas de Black, parámetro ΔTc y temperatura de transición, que proporcionaron información para ampliar el estudio del comportamiento de los ligantes asfálticos en estado original, con envejecimiento primario (RTFOT) y envejecimiento secundario (PAV) en las carreteras durante su vida útil. Realizando de esta manera comparaciones, recomendaciones y conclusiones de los resultados obtenidos para actualizar la problemática que presenta el asfalto ecuatoriano y tener una pauta para futuras investigaciones y mejoras. |
