Estudio de viabilidad para la creación de una empresa verificadora en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present business plan was carried out with the purpose of determining the viability for the start-up of a company dedicated to the verification and inspection of export bananas. For which a methodology of mixed cut (qualitative and quantitative) was applied by means of the application of interviews and observation in the field investigation with which it was possible to obtain information about the process that is followed to provide the service to the client. A bibliographic documentary research was carried out to establish the licenses and permits that the enterprise requires to start up its operations, finding that the name must be registered in the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance to constitute the business of the Internal Revenue Service for that has a Unique Taxpayers Registry, of the National Customs Service of Ecuador with the certification of the SEA (Ecuadorian Accreditation Service) and of BASC (international regulatory entity). Through the study of the market it was possible to show the competition of Banana Verifier and the external environment that the new company must face. Determining that the commercial department will have to focus on making visits to banana exporters to publicize the service personally and have communication channels for customers such as: website, social networks, etc. Finally, the financial viability of the business was determined through an analysis in which the Internal Rate of Return or IRR is 20.8%, while the demand of the project is 12.64% (WACC). The additional benefit is USD $ 14,217.94; and the recovery time of the shareholders' investment is 2 years 6 months and 7 days.
