Análisis del desarrollo productivo del sector cafetalero de la parroquia San Plácido - Provincia de Manabí. Periodo 2013 - 2017.

Abstract

The present investigation shows that the coffee producing sector of the province of Manabí has been affected by environmental, financial, productive and management factors that have not allowed the production of coffee to develop properly. Given that and considering that in the province of Manabí were the first large crops and coffee exports, the objective is to analyze the productive development of coffee in one of the parishes of the province, as is San Placido. The purpose of this work is to know the dynamics of the coffee sector in the parish and outline actions that favor its development. The research method is deductive with mixed qualitative and quantitative technique. The type of research is descriptive and correlational in scope. Interviews were applied to the authorities related to the object of study and surveys to coffee producers. In conclusion, it was determined that the productive development of coffee is strongly linked to the price, climate, credit and investment.
