Abstract

The design of the book "Piñas, land of charm" arises due to the need for the Unit of Environmental Management, Tourism, Productive Sector and Animal Rescue not to have a book with updated information regarding the canton Piñas that contains its history, natural resources and cultural. The methodology used in this project is of a documentary type, allowing to investigate in books, which serves to gather information about the place, it also applies a descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach, using interviews, focus groups, allowing to know parameters for the development of the book and relevant information of the place. This project combines editorial design with photography. And for the development of it the adobe programs InDesign and Photoshop are used.
