Eficiencia del uso de un mejorador de postura en aves reproductoras de la línea Cobb-Vantress.

Abstract

The investigation took place at the facilities of the company of Reproductoras del Ecuador S.A Reproecsa, located in the area Casas Viejas, belonging to Montecristi, province of Manabí. In this project a population of 270 Cobb 500 breeding broilers was used, which were divided into three research groups and randomly chosen. In week 41, the product was added in two groups chosen with different doses, and the latter continued its feeding without the addition of it. The purpose of the work was to evaluate the efficiency of the product on the farm during the posture in certain aspects, since the breeders of advanced age show difficulty in producing eggs to a greater amount in addition to possible failures during handling from the reception of the breeders that can determine the loss or profits that the producer will receive. At the conclusion of this project, it was demonstrated that the complement of the product in the balanced diet of the breeding broilers shows an increase in the production curve, however it was not statistically significant but technically it was considered an investment for the producers. Consequently, breeding broilers improved the utilization of balanced nutrients within their digestive system by increasing egg production in small quantities.
