Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present the case entitled "Desire to be everything, took her to the nothing." This analysis allowed to know about the psychic structure of the subject, considering that it’s based on psychoanalytic orientation. This analysis allowed to deepen with significant concepts of the psychoanalytic approach in a better way such as: the subjective structure of the patient, her ghost, the modality of Jouissance and her symptom. Consequently, the neurotic structure of the analyzer could be established, based on its symptom and the constant appearance of dissatisfaction that can be observed in this clinical case. Clara is a forty-year-old woman who comes to the analysis saying that her main problem is of an affective nature, emphasizing that “she hasn’t been able to establish and maintain a good relationship with men”. This is because she felt that she had lost her first-born, since the birth of her younger sister, because the father established a closer relationship with her sister, from which Clara was excluded. This would be the nucleus from which her problems started, the way in which she tries to be accepted for others is by positioning herself as object a of the Other, trying to cover the lack of the Other even with her own body, this position cause displeasure because she must accommodate herself and to please the others, losing her identity in the attempt.
