Abstract

The objective of this study was to design an inclusive business model aimed at people deprived of liberty through which their right to work and favorable social rehabilitation is guaranteed, taking into account that said right is attributed to them in the Constitution of the Republic Ecuador, but although they receive the knowledge to perform an activity, their practice to obtain income while serving their sentence is limited, not receiving stable remuneration or being able to market their products effectively. Based on the above, the importance of the business model arises, gathering field information that allows knowing the situation of the PPLs in relation to the labor axis, products with the greatest potential for marketing, support for the proposal and other aspects that were known through a descriptive methodology, using documentary and field information through interviews. The results showed that the market presents favorable conditions for the commercialization of cast nets, being a type of fishing net manufactured by the PPLs and from which the business model is designed, describing how it would carry out its activity, form of constitution, necessary resources and other points where its economic viability is also reflected. The project also included a reintegration and leadership model through which the performance and evolution of the PPL participating in the venture will be evaluated, in addition to the impact on their family environment, thereby evidencing needs that must be resolved.
