Abstract

In this work, "The Dyad of a Case of Male Hysteria: Being Seduced - Being Seductive”, the fragments of Esteban's daily life were analyzed, a twenty-eight- year-old young man who claims to attend consultation due to frustrations in the educational, work, family and emotional fields; and who finds among the possible causes of his poor performance, a series of scenes that occurred since his childhood. Using psychoanalytic theory, this work frames the patient's phrases, dreams and stories within a hysterical neurosis through the analysis of the concepts that allow the structure to be located. Esteban inflicts persistent discomfort on himself. Finally, the development of the case carried out following the clinical method, which allowed me to analyze Esteban's subjective position and his symptomatic way of confronting his discomfort.
