Lo real de la muerte como factor desencadenante de las urgencias subjetivas en el personal médico hospitalario, durante la pandemia por COVID-19, en la ciudad de Guayaquil- Ecuador.

Abstract

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused an encounter with the real of death, death can be understood as raw contact with the real, since in order to describe what it is to be dead, you must first be dead. In such a way, the real is understood as the unspeakable, unknowable and not signified. This qualitative research work took into account the hospital doctors who were at the beginning and outbreak of the pandemic, therefore, the sample is non-probabilistic or directed samples. The techniques that were used are open interviews, the review and collection of bibliographic sources, taking into consideration the psychoanalytic perspective. The research is aimed at analyzing and contextualizing, through the study of cases and the review and qualitative analysis of the bibliographic sources collected, how the real of death during the COVID-19 pandemic calls for subjective emergencies and how it intervenes in the personnel medic hospital, in the city of Guayaquil- Ecuador. Understanding the subjective urgency in the immediacy that the care is required by the patient. The real bursts into the subject and resists his efforts to give it meaning. That is the relevance of using the subjective emergency device, and of being able to provide the space for listening and speaking to patients; where in the encounter with the real the words are not enough, the use of the device allowed a space for processing that which had not been symbolized or not articulated.
