Incidencia de la pandemia por Covid-19 en las competencias de los futuros profesionales de Turismo de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out to know the Incidence of the pandemic by Covid-19 in the competitions of the future graduates of tourism in the city of Guayaquil. In order to fulfill the proposed objectives, the development of four chapters respectively will be presented. To begin with, an analysis will be carried out of the current academic offer for tourism students in the city of Guayaquil, in which there are six Higher Institutions that offer this career, which are: Business Technology University of Guayaquil (UTEG); Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL); Ecotec University; Litoral Politechnic School (ESPOL); the State University of Guayaquil (FACSO) and Catholic University Santiago of Guaaquil (UCSG). Through interviews with professionals of the Tourism Industry, it will be known which are the most important competencies that the future professional must have for a comprehensive training. The surveys will determine the perspective that students have of this new study modality, it will be analyzed if they feel satisfied and if they consider that they are being offered a quality education. Finally, learning strategies will be presented so that the Universities of Guayaquil can implement them for the benefit of their students for their professional training according to the results obtained from the interviews and surveys.
