Ruta de restitución de derechos de jóvenes con medida de protección especial : historias de jóvenes de una ONG de la ciudad de Cuenca.

Abstract

When an NNA has been violated in his/her rights, the State must restore them to restore their integral development. The general objective is focused on describing the Institutional Foster Care program that is a component of the special protection policies of the National Government. The information recovered from a qualitative research analyzes the family, social and legal circumstances of 3 young people who were part of the Institutional Foster Care program and that highlight the experiences and testimonies that they experienced when being part of said program, highlighting advantages and disadvantages from their own optics. The social reintegration process that allows them to once again be an active part of society is also considered. Common causes are obtained between consequential, conjunctural and structural cases, which are contrasted with Erikson's psychosocial theory and Child Development in order to give an interpretation that allows us to understand how the route of restitution of rights is in all its dimensions and how it affects a child. It is recommended to emphasize the Social Worker as an indispensable actor in each of the facets of this route, that child development be worked on as a State policy, that it is necessary to continue developing tools and skills for children before reaching their majority to be able to face the challenges of Society and the need to continuously monitor each case as a strategy to achieve a full autonomous life.
