| Résumé: | The present work is an analytical study that proposes to expose the challenges faced by the figure of telework in Ecuador by having a brief and recent normative regulation in Ecuadorian legislation. Within the first chapter we determine the origin of this recent modality of work, its definition, elements, distinctive characteristics, and its early legal regulation. Subsequently, each of the points that represent a challenge for labor law in the accelerated application of the telework modality are analyzed. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo es un estudio analítico que propone exponer los desafíos a los que se enfrenta la figura del teletrabajo en el Ecuador al tener una breve y reciente regulación normativa en la legislación ecuatoriana. Dentro del primer capítulo determinamos el origen de esta reciente modalidad del trabajo, su definición, elementos, características distintivas, y su temprana regulación jurídica. Posteriormente se analizan cada uno de los puntos que representan un desafío para el derecho laboral en la acelerada aplicación de la modalidad del teletrabajo. |
