Creación del pasillo ecuatoriano “Ausencia” basado en el análisis de los pasillos: “Sendas Distintas” de Jorge Araujo y “El alma en los labios” de Francisco Paredes Herrera.

Abstract

This research shows the process of creating an “pasillo ecuatoriano”, based on the analysis of the musical themes "Sendas Distintas" by Jorge Araujo and "El Alma en los Labios" by Francisco Paredes. To achieve the creation of this musical theme, the general characteristics of “pasillo ecuatoriano” were analyzed. Formulating this analysis, harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic elements, orchestration plus the lyrics were obtained, it gave the way to the composition of the pasillo “Ausencia”. In chapter one, the musical theme is introduced, it shows the principal music genre artist, defines the importance of investigation and designs the objectives of it. Through chapter two, we can find theoretical references that were necessary to establish the characteristics of the “pasillo ecuatoriano”, as the musical elements of the same. By means of the third chapter, methods and techniques to use in this research are defined, to finish with the topic proposal of the musical theme and its respective analyzes in the fourth chapter.
