Relevancia de la función del docente de Educación General Básica Elemental en el acompañamiento a estudiantes víctimas de abuso sexual.

Abstract

The objective of this degree work was to analyze the relevance of teachers when it comes to accompanying students who are victims of sexual violence. Sexual violence against children has become a terrible reality in our country with statistics in the red. From the Ministry of Education, protocols and prevention and action strategies have been carried out in these situations, but which, in general, are unknown to the teacher. To raise the problem, the analysis of sexual violence and its symptomatic repercussions on students was proposed. In addition, a tour was made of the different action guidelines and how the teacher places it as a fundamental part of this process with the members of the Dece. The methodological approach used was qualitative with a descriptive study scope. The technique used was interviews with different teachers from some of the city's educational institutions. Among the results, it stands out how teachers feel many limitations due to their lack of skills and/or resources when dealing with this problem, reaching the point of feeling that it is a foreign issue to them.
