Análisis de las TIC en la productividad del sector de transportación privada y delivery de Guayaquil – periodo 2020.

Abstract

The main goal of this work is to analyze and understand Information and Communication Technologies as a fundamental instrument for productivity in the private transportation and delivery sector in the city of Guayaquil, through a quantitative and qualitative analysis that allows establishing the impact generated in the sector between the two variables. The sources used were the Municipal Transit Authority of Guayaquil (ATM), Ministry of Transportation, Federation of Transporters of Guayas, National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC), among others, in order to determine the population. According to the results of 735 employers in this sector, divided into 371 delivery drivers and 364 private transport drivers, the relevance of the relationship between the impact of the imperfections of the applications and the way of use by employees either by knowledge, behavior and conduct which affects productivity in general in companies in this market was demonstrated. The paradox of the problem is found in both external factors such as coverage and costs and internal factors such as service rates. This study can be adapted to future research for the innovation of new and improved tools in this type of service.
