Santa Paqui : un dar sin límites.

Abstract

The present work corresponds to the analysis of a clinical case based on a deep psychoanalytic look, taking the most important concepts that appear in the symptomatology of hysterical neurosis. This analysis is about Paqui, a 21- year-old woman who goes to therapy to seek help after fleeing from the aggressions she has experienced from her partners. For her, being a woman means being a Saint, and as she begins to have a partner with the particular trait of assaulting her, verbally or physically, she fulfills the function with which she identifies and responds to what being that holy woman means to her, and when she meets this partner that controls her, she puts a stop to it, it becomes unbearable, therefore, she runs away. It has been elaborated on the implications that she makes in what her complaint relapses, so that she manifests giving everything in her relationships, so the questions that she asks herself will allow analyzing the subjective position that she takes when making the escape she does before the Other. In this case, what she notices on her partners, they fit the hysterical structure as the main symptom of her complaint. From this analysis in the case of Paqui, a structural diagnosis can be made on how she deals with the symptoms related to demand and jouissance.
