Abstract

This degree work will focus on research about the changes in the dominant narratives of the family system and the paranormative crises that occur as a consequence of the disclosure of the homosexuality of one of its members. It is important because the subjects when exposing their sexual orientation to their family sometimes do not have sufficient support from their relatives due to the beliefs that are formed by the dominant narratives that exist within it. The objective of this research is to analyze the changes that occur in the dominant narratives of the family system as a result of the disclosure of the homosexuality of one of its members, through bibliographic information and a focus group, in order to understand the appearance of homosexuality. paranormative crisis within the family and how they affect its members. The method used by the researchers is descriptive and explanatory based on the results obtained through a focus group to facilitate the different empirical perspectives based on the subject, including two interviews with different branches: psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral.
